Intermountain Healthcare's new CEO launched a company restructure in 2017 that affected virtually all of the organization's 38,000 employees dispersed throughout multiple remote locations across two states. They employed a variety of tactics to communicate changes and improve morale, some of which worked and some did not.

Take an inside look at things they tried, including live video broadcasts, podcasts, face-to-face meetings, emails, etc., and discussed what worked, what didn't, and what they learned in the year-long process.

In this session, hear how changes were communicated to employees and the lessons learned throughout the process, including:

  • Ways to deliver difficult messages to employees.
  • Pitfalls to avoid when communicating with employees.
  • Strategies to rebuild employee trust and engagement following tough changes.
